OONI: Tor bridge reachability
Summary
- Total reports processed: 1158
- Total tests processed: 37237
- Latest report processed: 2017-06-07 22:12:09
- Number of faulty tests filtered from results: 737
- Number of countries with bridge reachability measurements: 17
Using reports generated by the OONI-probe measurement test suite, collected every hour from Tor's report repository, the following graph shows an overview of global tor bridge reachability.
This page contains two visual analysis tools:
- Timelines of Tor transport types, both as a global aggregate and per country
- A bridge measurements explorer, providing a means to navigate measurements from the OONI bridge_reachability reports.

Goals and methodology
Goals
- The current implementation of bridge report visualization from the OONI-probe generated reports does not attempt to make any analytic statement. This iteration is restricted to providing a way to visually navigate the available data.
Caveats
- The OONI network testing suite has been under heavy development, a non trivial exercise to say the
least. As a consequence the reporting format has improved over time and
distribution probes to enable wide coverage understandably suffered. The corresponding graphic depiction
of these reports are equally spotty. We are confident that caveat will become moot in the near future.
You can participate in increasing distribution of ooni-probes. Please first familiarize yourself with the project
- There is a known bug which at this time makes 20% of the tests not suitable for this data visualization.
Assumptions
- No assumptions currently made
Methodology
- There is currently no intermediate analysis. The methodology is very straightforward, acquisition and presentation of the ooni-reports.
